Döhler has acquired Poland-based Aromes Group in order to boost its position in the fast-growing Eastern European flavors market.
In addition to Aromes's production site, which is located near Warsaw (Grodzisk Mazowiecki), Aromes Group also has two sales locations in Ukraine and the Baltics. Alongside its core competence in the field of flavors, Aromes also provides its customers with beverage bases, emulsions, colors and compounds.
As a partner for the food and beverage industry, Aromes has experience in the production of premium flavors and extracts and in the application of baked goods, confectionery and beverages, as well as detailed knowledge of the Eastern European market, its consumers and local taste preferences.
In addition to premium extracts and flavors for beverages, including many flavor specialties in regionally significant flavors, Aromes also offers a flavor portfolio for the baked goods and confectionery industry.
The Eastern European food and beverage market is one of the fastest growing in the EU. By acquiring Aromes, Döhler said it is preparing for further growth in the Eastern European flavors market and the expansion of business activities in the food segment.
