CEW Reveals 2013 Beauty Insiders’ Choice Award Winners

Cosmetic Executive Women Inc. (CEW) has revealed the winners of its 19th Annual 2013 Beauty Insiders’ Choice Awards, the industry's recognition for the top beauty launches of the previous year.

The event was held May 17 at the Waldorf Astoria in New York, where 36 awards were presented to the teams behind the year's most innovative products. For its scent categories, this year's winners were:

Women’s Scent Mass

Closer by Halle Berry (Coty Inc., supplier: Firmenich)

Women’s Scent Prestige

Dot Marc Jacobs (Coty Inc., supplier: Firmenich)

Men’s Scent

Spicebomb (Viktor & Rolf, supplier: IFF)

For fragrance, Lancôme's La Vie Est Belle won the The Best Seller Award, which recognizes the product categories with the most growth in sales and the best selling product in that category in mass and department stores. Winners are based on retail sales data from Symphony/IRI and NPD.
