Bell Names New Managers for Fragrance Production, Lab and QC

Bell Flavors and Fragrances (Northbrook, Illinois) has appointed new managers for its fragrance production, fragrance lab and quality assurance operations.

Marlene Espinosa has been named production manager at Bell’s fragrance manufacturing plant in Middletown, New York. She will be responsible for managing the liquid fragrance compounding and botanical extract manufacturing areas, as well as the implementation and training of the plant-wide safety program.

Melissa Scharoff has been appointed fragrance laboratory manager. Her main job responsibilities include training, assisting and mentoring all lab technicians on daily functions and safety procedures of the lab.

Eric Alexander has been named quality assurance manager. He will manage all aspects of the Northbrook, Illinois quality control and quality assurance programs. He will also develop, implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality control assurance, hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) programs and maintain safe quality food (SQF) certification.
