Bell Flavors and Fragrances announced the re-certification of their manufacturing facility in Middletown, NY for the ISO 22716.
The certification recertifies the botanical manufacturing area, as well as the liquid fragrance and spray dry fragrance areas. High marks were received by Bell, with only two small non-conformances.
ISO 22716 gives guidelines for the production, control, storage and shipment of cosmetic ingredients. The guidelines cover the quality aspects of liquid fragrances, spray dry fragrances and botanical extracts.
Tim Cunningham, Vice President for the Middletown site said, “Achieving this ISO re-certification with only a few minor non-conformances in conjunction with our SQF certification reinforces Bell’s commitment to providing only the best quality and service to our customers. Each year our quality systems have improved, and we expect this trend will continue in the future.”
