FONA International (Geneva, IL) has been named one of the fastest-growing private companeis in the United States on the first-ever Inc. 5,000 list. The Inc. 5,000, an extension of Inc. magazine’s annual Inc. 500 list, catches many businesses that are too big to grow at the pace required to make the Inc. 500, as well as a host of smaller firms.
Of the honor, FONA president and CEO Joe Slawek said, “This is a great honor for FONA and a wonderful recognition of our growth, which is five times the standard in our industry. Our continued success allows us to contribute to our customers, our employees and our community’s growth.”
In other news, FONA has been named Certified Organic by Quality Certification Services (QCS), effective September 6. QCS is a USDA National Organic Program (NOP) and ISO-65 compliant organic certification program. FONA also meets organic suitable, halal, kosher and all-natural requirements.
