A.M. Todd (Kalamazoo, MI) has introduced a new brand for its organic products—Mooreganics. This name captures the heritage of Moore Ingredients, which A.M. Todd acquired during the first quarter 2007, as well as its focus on providing innovative organic taste solutions. Over the last 15 years, Moore Ingredients has created and manufactured natural and certified organic specialty ingredients. Most of the organic ingredients, colors and flavors are available in both liquid/water soluble and powdered forms. They are certified to both USDA NOP and EU EEC Organic Requirements. They are also certified as kosher parve.
Of the new brand, A.M. Todd Flavor division president Ray Hughes said, “We are excited about the new name ‘Mooreganics’ and how it represents one of our growing numbers of core competencies. Mooreganics stands for a full line of certified organic isolates, colors and flavors for use in beverages, confections and foods, as well as the know-how behind creating the market products that require them.”
