Symrise (Holzminden, Germany) has reported first quarter 2007 sales of 331.2 million euros, an increase of 5.3% from the same quarter 2006. Both divisions experienced high growth rates, with the Scent & Care Division increasing by 6.5% and the Flavor & Nutrition Division rising 4.0%. Symrise continues to expect annual industry growth of 3% per annum. However, the company anticipates average sales growth of 5–6% per annum in 2007 and 2008.
