RIFM Announces Environmental Adjunct Group, Members

Research Institute for Fragrance Material (RIFM) has formed an environmental adjunct group to support the expert panel’s efforts in environmental assessment of fragrance materials and development of IFRA’s Environmental Standards. The members of the group include Michael McLachlan, professor of analytical environmental chemistry, Stockholm University, Sweden and Beate Escher, deputy director of the national research centre for environmental toxicology, University of Queensland, Australia. McLachlan and Escher enhance the expertise advising RIFM, especially in the areas of environmental fate and bioaccumulation.
