With a view to strengthen its presence in the Arab world, Symrise (Holzminden, Germany) has established a local affiliate in Dubai that houses sales offices and application laboratories. Of this development, Torsten Wiltosch, the head manager for the site said, “Over the past few years, we’ve established a large number of new contacts and clients in the Arab world. And we see a lot of potential for future business in this region, which is why we’re investing in close personal contact.”
The new office employs 15 people primarily focusing on local and regional sales and marketing. It also includes two applications laboratories to develop flavorings and formulations to match local taste preferences.
