Food Ingredients & Specialities BV (Fi & S; Sittard, the Netherlands) has signed a strategic merger with Fromatech Ingredients BV (Sittard, the Netherlands) to form Innogredients Group BV. Pairing Fi & S BV’s functional capabilities and Fromatech’s flavor and R&D expertise, the new company will serve the food and beverage industry.
Meanwhile, the newly formed company has entered into a partnership with Driessen Group BV (Deurne, the Netherlands) and the Wiebeco group of companies (Abbotsford, Canada). Wiebco promotes health and fitness products and dairy and egg proteins. The Driessen Group will help with worldwide logistics of the partnership’s ingredients.
