CPL Aromas Invests and Opens New Branch

CPL Aromas (Bishop’s Stortford, UK) has invested $1.5 million into the company. This will enable the European and Far East region factories to be enhanced with automatic systems for fragrance sampling and bulk manufacturing. The machines will improve capacity while reducing pressure on the infrastructure during peak demand.

In other news, CPL Aromas has opened CPL Middle East, based in a new creative development center in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The opening of this new facility was led by Chris Pickthall who moved from the company’s headquarters in the United Kingdom to Dubai to lead the new division and merge the existing regional businesses into a new operation. The fragrance division of Gulf Flavors & Fragrances was acquired during the set up, with formulas, customers and staff all integrated and retained. CPL’s director of perfumery, Christian Provenzano, and senior account manager, Abid Abbas, also relocated to Dubai.
