Mane SA has opened a facility in Noisiel, France, called Meat Pro, which develops functional and aromatic blends, flavors, and vegetable proteins for the meat industry.
Meat Pro was established through Mane's acquisition of France Protéines Services, a specialist in semi-finished products for processed meat, which enables Mane to offer its products throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The Meat Pro team includes food technologists, flavorists, meat engineers and chefs, and uses a culinary kitchen to replicate processed meat similar to that which is cooked at home. Meat Pro also has pilot laboratories, equipped with professional machines to reproduce the industrial production processes of the fish and meat industries.
The group uses extraction and encapsulation technologies which are key for stability and powerful flavors, as well as flavor solutions for complex formulations requiring salt reduction, fat reduction or off-note masking.
