Sixth IFRA Fragrance Compliance Cycle 100% Clear

International Fragrance Association (IFRA) has found that all fragrance formulations in its sixth compliance cycle were compliant with the IFRA Code of Practice, which supports standards for product safety for consumers and the environment.

In a recent report, IFRA said the sixth cycle of the IFRA Compliance Program, covering the period May 2011 to May 2012, did not find any substances in violation of the IFRA Code of Practice in any of the selected products.

The test sample contained 50 fragranced products chosen at random from 450 marketed products from 10 randomly selected IFRA member countries. The products, which include fine fragrances, body care products and household products, were analyzed by an independent body, Eurofins, and were given the 100% clear.
