Responding to the growing demand for natural products by Canadian consumers, Naturex has opened a subsidiary in Toronto. This branch offers current and future Naturex customers with a full product portfolio from the company, and the new premises in the Ontario region includes a warehouse and a sales office. This location is headed by Maxence Duprez, sales director, and will support the development of both the food and nutraceutical/pharmaceutical markets.
The company feels the Canadian market presents many similarities to the U.S. market, where Naturex has been operating since 1997. However, there are also differences, including regulatory rules and consumer expectations. “Our office in Toronto is targeting the specific needs of the Canadian market,” said Duprez. “It gives us the opportunity to enhance the relationship with our existing clients as well as prospecting new ones.”
