Givaudan announced it is launching a new version of its iPerfumer app, iPerfumer2. The app is designed to help people buy fragrance in a more informed way, and the updated version now offers improved usability and search facilities inspired by the comments from the iPerfumer community.
The new features include the ability for users to more easily update their profiles and post fragrance wish lists. iPerfumer2 also provides prefab lists, including a “Top Rated” function that allows users to see what fragrances have been most highly rated by the iPerfumer community and a “New launches” section that provides users with a different avenue to explore new fragrances.
Felix Mayr-Harting, Givaudan’s global head of fine fragrance, said of the new iPerfumer, “Apps are a growing way that we access information today. The response to iPerfumer was great last year, and we hope that this latest version will be easier to use and even more informative. Perfume is our world, and one that we are passionate about sharing with people everywhere.”
