IFEAT announced its 2011 study tour will take place in the Spice Islands of Indonesia. Open to both members and industry colleagues, the event will take place July 3–10, 2011, timed to coincide with the harvest and distillation of some of the region’s major essential oils crops. The tour offers the opportunity to learn about the production, trading and research of essential oils, extracts and derivatives in the area, as well as have a chance to experience the local culture.
Registration is now open for the event, which was organized by IFEAT and members of the Indonesia industry, including the Indonesian Essential Oil Council and travel agency PACTO.
