Ottens Flavors (Philadelphia) signed an agreement with World Energy, an energy management services firm, to purchase “green power” that will enable the company to avoid an estimated 2,500 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions during the next two years. “Through World Energy we were able to procure 100% green energy, and that benefits Ottens, our customers, our community and the environment,” said Ottens Flavors president, George Robinson. “I still smile when I tell people that.”
