Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate must be able to work within a dynamic team environment, creating and developing fragrances for use in a wide range of consumer end products.
  • Creation and development of stable and performing fragrances conforming to relevant legislation, IFRA Guidelines and client restrictions.
  • Ability to reconstruct market fragrances for all categories (including fine fragrance) using GCMS data.
  • Interact with other perfumers and junior staff to improve reconstructed fragrance formulas.
  • Evaluation of new technologies and materials to improve fragrance analysis, performance and acceptability.
  • Evaluation of fragrance and raw material stability test samples.
  • Evaluation of market products.
  • Participate in odour panels for quality control of incoming and outgoing materials and purchase samples.
  • Training and development of Perfumery Laboratory staff and Junior members of SELUZ PERFUME ACADEMY.
  • Providing technical and presentation support to clients.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Creative and innovative approach for new perfume development projects.
  • Excellent experience of utilizing GCMS data to create finished formulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Must be able to effectively present information to an individual or group. English is a must.
  • Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Must be able to organize, develop and motivate other team members.
  • Must be detail oriented and a team player.

  • Bachelor's degree(Business or a technical field preferred) OR a high school diploma with 8-10 years of experience in the relevant industry.
  • Proven track record in Sales establishing and nurturing customer relationships
  • 5+ years business experience in Sales, Marketing and Account Management Aroma Ingredients or related business required.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a global, multi-national organization is preferred.
  • Flavor and/or Menthol/Mint Industry knowledge a plus
  • Highly developed communication skills - verbal and written required.
  • Able to travel 30% + of time.
  • Strong presentation skills

Our Bremen office is the sales and development center for Europe. Our R&D team in Bremen is currently looking for dynamic people excited about meeting the challenges of creating fun and daring new flavours:


Reporting to the General Manager and Technical Director, responsibilities of the position would include, but are not limited to:

  • Respond to client requests related to the creation of new flavours;
  • Respond to client requests related to finished products requiring modifications;
  • Develop, create or modify flavour formulations;
  • Develop application recipes using flavours, as required;
  • Provide required support to the QA/QC team to resolve internal or external non-conformities;
  • Provide support to the sales team and clients, as required;
  • Perform all other related technical tasks.

    The ideal candidate would have a Bachelor degree in Science preferably in Flavor Science, Food Chemistry, Food Technology or related scientific field, at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, knowledge of good manufacturing practices in the food industry, knowledge of occupational safety and health standards and computer knowledge and skills (MS Office suite).


    An English speaker or preferably a bilingual German / English individual (knowledge of French is also an asset), the candidate can effectively manage priorities, solve problems and work under pressure. He/She is autonomous and organized, critical and analytical and work efficiently in a team. Excellent communication skills are also required.
