Firmenich (Geneva) has transferred oversight of fragrance reference site OSMOZ to agency The Twelve.

Armand de Villoutreys, president of the perfume division of Firmenich, is quoted as saying "from now on, OSMOZ can spread its wings. We are passing the baton on to digital experts to ensure its future success."

The Twelve was behind the most recent site update two years ago and has since managed the site. Launched in 2001, the site "has a presence in over 15 countries, is available in four languages and with 234,000 active members, receives over 6000 visits a day." The site references nearly 8,000 perfumes.

The site launched an app in 2010. OSMOZ also received a 2011 award from The Fragrance Foundation.
