RIFM Tests New Method for Assessing Fragrance Inhalation

The Research Institute for Fragrance Materials, Inc. has developed a new model to assess inhalation exposure to fragrance material. The 2-Box Indoor Air Dispersion Model software characterizes the movement of a single molecule in two connected, enclosed rooms and allows users to determine air concentration over time. It can be used on its own or in conjunction with the Multiple Path Particle Deposition Model.

Subscribers to the RIFM database can download the program by selecting "Tools and Models" from the database homepage. A webinar on May 31 will give instructions on how to use the model. RIFM looks forward to user feedback.
