Combava Peel Oil
On occasion, oil produced from the peel of Citrus hystrix DC by cold pressing can be found on the international market. Lawrence et al. (1971) reported the results of an analysis of the peel oil of C. hystrix of Thai origin.
Sato et al. (1990) also examined the composition of Thai C. hystrix peel oil. They found that it possessed the following composition:
Trace amounts (< 0.03 percent) of 1,8-cineole, elemol, a cadinol isomer, α-eudesmol and an epoxyisopulegol were also found in this same oil.
