U.S. Patent PP26054
Publication date: Nov. 10, 2015
Inventors: L.G. Bradford and J.M. Quisenberry

This invention relates to a new and distinct tree variety broadly characterized by being small in size, weakly vigorous, hardy and productive. Self-unfruitful, this variety requires cross-pollination from an apricot, interspecific or plum. It produces a heavy bloom with an abundant amount of pollen to entice good bee activity to facilitate pollination.

According to the inventors, the fruit matures during mid October and can hang on the tree for up to two weeks. The fruit is medium in size, black in skin color, clingstone in type, globose in shape, orange in flesh color, firm in texture and has an excellent flavor.
