Natural flavor and flavor ingredients company Robertet Flavors has received a new safety certification for its Piscataway, New Jersey, facility. The Safe Quality Food (SQF) 2000 certification is administered by the Food Marketing Institute (FMI). It is benchmarked by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GSFI) and incorporates Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP) methods, among others.
"We are very proud of our 99-plus% score and 'Excellent' rating," said James Valuckas, Robertet's director of quality assurance. "It represents a continuing commitment on the part of all members of the Robertet team to the quality and safety of our innovative products in the global marketplace."
