Symrise Offering Clean Label Culinary Bases

Symrise Flavor N.A. offers a range of clean label culinary bases that can be used in a range of food and beverage products.

Created by Symrise’s product development specialists, the culinary bases consist of flavors, extracts, essential oils, vegetable purees, juice concentrates, herbs and spices. The bases offered include ancho morita, Cajun vegetable, Caribbean jerk, cilantro lime, Creole chicken, gochujang, harissa, Korean barbecue, Mexican, mirepoix, mushroom, roasted tomato, sofrito, spinach vegetable, sriracha, Thai curry, tomato basil and tomato vegetable.

“We take the same ingredients our customers cook with and masterfully blend them with essential oils and extracts to create great tasting, clean label solutions. In some cases, we add flavors to these bases to increase the intensity and make them more economical,” explained Dylan Thompson, marketing consumer insight specialist.
