Create Flavours (North Somerset, United Kingdom) has launched Herb Leaf Boosters, a range of natural flavorings designed to add fresh herb tastes to recipes that would traditionally use dried herbs. The flavors can impart herb freshness in a range of products such as ready meals, stocks, soups, seasonings and meat products, and are available in water-soluble/oil-soluble liquids and spray dried powder forms, depending on the final application.
Of the new flavorings, Jonathan Jones, managing director, Create Flavours, said, “These new natural flavorings give manufacturers an opportunity to add a bit of 'cheffiness' to their products … They can simply be added to existing products without the need for time consuming and costly re-engineering.”
