FEMA to Honor Bob Eilerman with Excellence in Flavor Science Award

At the 44th FEMA Fall Symposium, which runs from October 22-24, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Bob Eilerman will be honored with the 2013 FEMA Excellence in Flavor Science Award

Eilerman, who holds more than 50 flavor-related patents, retired from Givaudan as the executive vice president of global innovation programs this year, after a 40-year career in the flavor industry.

During his time with Givaudan, he served as vice president of the flavor management team in Dübendorf, Switzerland, where he was responsible for applied research, flavor creation, and application for the European region.

Upon his return to the U.S., Eilerman had global responsibility as senior vice president for applied research and sensory science (click here to read more of Eilerman's biography). 

Eilerman will address Fall Symposium attendees at the FEMA Excellence in Flavor Science Luncheon on October 23.
