The European Federation of Essential Oils is holding an annual general meeting on June 30, 2014 in Grasse, Palais de Congrès.
Topics for the annual general meeting include “Sharing Beauty With All,” presented by Marie-Hélène Beausoleil, International Fragrance Portfolio & Partnership, Fragrance Métier, L’ORÉAL research and innovation; “Resilience of Bergamot Producers in Calabria,” presented by Stephen Weller, director of communications, International Fragrance Association; “Sourcing with Respect - the Principles of UEBT (the Union of Ethical BioTrade),” presented by Bas Schneiders, head of international strategic sourcing & corporate sustainability at Weleda Group; “EU wildlife trade regulations and import into the EU,” presented by Hélène Perier, policy officer for scientific advice on CITES and the EU CITES Regulation EU Commission, DG ENVI, global sustainability trade and multilateral agreements.
In the evening preceding the annual general meeting (June 29, 2014, at 8 p.m.) there will be the usual gala dinner at the beach of the Grand Hotel Mercure Croisette Beach Hotel in Cannes (€ 95.00 per person, including aperitif and wines; invoices will be sent after receipt of the participation form).
For all those who have not registered yet for the meeting, the participation form which should be returned, duly filled in, to the Secretariat not later than June 18, 2014.
