The Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM) and the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) will hold a workshop on June 4, from 8:30–11:30 AM (EST), entitled “QRA: Impact of the 42nd Amendment.” Although the registration deadline to attend in-person has passed, there will be Internet access for those not attending. The workshop includes a presentation by Anne Marie Api on the continued implementation of the QRA for dermal sensitization method with the introduction of the 42nd Amendment. The changes and modification in the IFRA QRA categories will be reviewed. Matthias Vey will review IFRA Certification in light of the 42nd Amendment, including the implication on new vs. existing formulae. Finally, William Troy will discuss the new IFRA compliance program and implementation times of the 42nd Amendment.
