Bell Unveils New Flavor Concepts

Bell Flavors & Fragrances (Northbrook, Illinois) recently conducted its second annual Flavorology event to unveil new flavor concepts and technologies. The company displayed the latest line of floral flavors such as Lavender Rose, Hibiscus Raspberry and Orange Blossom, consumable beauty flavors, garden fresh flavors and apple and mango varietals of Peruvian mango and Hawthorn apple.

Of the event, Simon Poppelsdorf, vice president, technical services at Bell said, “This type of collaborative development allowed for great information exchange between flavorists and application staff and different categories such as savory and sweet.”

The other highlight of the event was CheFusion, a culinary competition in which seven industry chefs formed five teams to create new menu concepts.
