Upcoming Event: ASP Annual Symposium

The American Society of Perfumers (ASP) will hold its 54th Annual Symposium June 2 at the Marriott Marquis on Broadway in New York.

The event includes an industry panel that will address: “How to Hear the Voices of our Customers and Increase Sales.” Participants will include fragrance development consultant Ann Gottlieb; fragrance authority Jan Moran; perfume critics Chandler Burr and Marlen Harrison; global fragrance expert and consultant Marian Bendeth; industry monitor Karen Grant from the NPD group; Perfumer & Flavorist magazine contributor, blogger and author Michelle Krell Kydd; and integrated and digital marketing executive David Frederick.

At the event, the ASP’s Legends Award committee will be honoring Camille McDonald, president of BBW brand development and merchandising. The organization’s Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Lambert Dekker, senior vice president/chief perfumer, Takasago International Corp. Meanwhile, the symposium will include a tribute to Roman Kaiser, research fellow at Givaudan.
