The Fashion Group International Inc. (FGI) is hosting its 15th Annual Rising Star Awards at Cipriani 42nd Street on January 26, 2012. The event, which will feature a reception, luncheon and awards presentation, honors individuals for their innovations, creativity and accomplishments in categories of “Beauty/Fragrance Corporate,” “Beauty/Fragrance Entrepreneur,” “Retail,” “Women’s Ready-to-Wear,” “Accessories,” “Home/Interior Design,” “Fine Jewelry” and “Menswear.”
The event’s keynote speakers are fashion designers Ruben and Isabel Toldeo, and presenters at the awards include designer Thom Browne, Elle beauty director Emily Dougherty, designer Rami Kashou, Tarte founder and CEO Maureen Kelly, jewelry designer Monica Rich Kosann, Lord & Taylor's executive vice president of merchandising Liz Rodbell, and designer and artist Ralph Rucci.
